A conversation starter

The number matters far less than what you do with it. Bring it to a session if you'd like.

How to read your result.

  • A screener is a rough measure of the last two weeks, not a verdict on you. A bad fortnight will show as a bad fortnight.
  • These questionnaires can't see context — bereavement, a physical illness, a genuinely difficult situation. All of those move the score without meaning what the label suggests.
  • A low score doesn't mean nothing is wrong. If something feels off, that's reason enough to talk to someone.
  • A high score isn't a diagnosis. It means a proper assessment would be worth having.

If you're struggling right now, please don't work through a questionnaire first — call Tele-MANAS on 14416 (Free, 24×7, all India) or your nearest emergency service.
